Vera is an ongoing project where I am seeking to create an identity of an unknown woman. The name Vera came from a discarded note that discusses Vera's tasks that are to be completed while working as a cleaner. Using this fragment of information combined with wider influences including people from my life I aim to create work that explores identity through objects and actions while playing with humour.

HANDY
Revealing a fragment of Vera's identity through video and sound. Making the viewer feel as if they are standing over her doing a mundane task such as removing her rubber gloves to reveal her false nails or while moisturising her hands. Theres something quite personal about these tasks and the hands of an individual.
